Is OKX Working in Nigeria? What the Official Evidence Confirms
An OKX campaign FAQ includes NGN, but that alone does not establish full access for every Nigerian resident. New-account verification, specific products, SEC status and regional referral eligibility are separate questions. We have not independently confirmed all four, so registration links remain paused. The official sources below explain what each piece of evidence can and cannot show.

What the NGN campaign actually demonstrates
The official Africa P2P voucher FAQ names NGN within campaign-specific conditions. This is evidence of a published promotion, not a completed Nigerian onboarding test. A campaign can have account, verification, timing and quota restrictions; opening its page does not show that you meet them.
The article previously treated public advertisements and reported changes as proof of full restoration. That went beyond the evidence. Advertisements can share funds or have limits, so adding their displayed amounts does not measure guaranteed executable market depth.
Four questions to keep separate
Resident onboarding: does the current official country policy accept your residence, and does the genuine verification process support it? Product access: which service is enabled for that account? Local promotion: what do the relevant Nigerian rules and platform permissions allow? Referral eligibility: do the current partner terms permit Nigerian residents and this channel?
An answer to one question cannot fill the others. We do not ask you to create an account to test eligibility, alter your country or use another person’s identity.
How to read the SEC evidence
Match the legal entity and activity, not just the brand. Read the dated circular and its conditions. The cited July circular distinguishes conditional ARIP admission from a final licence. Later admissions mean a short directory may lag behind circulars.
Binance needs a separate assessment: the SEC warning concerning binance.com dates to July 2023, while its NGN discontinuation was a service announcement in March 2024. Neither can be erased by a newer public campaign from a different exchange.
What would change this page
A dated official account-eligibility statement, evidence for the specific service, a current review of local promotion restrictions, and applicable regional partner terms would support reconsidering a registration link. Until then, use this page to check evidence rather than assume availability.
Where crypto stands with the SEC right now
Check the exact provider entity, activity and date in the SEC circular. ARIP Approval-in-Principle is conditional admission and is not a final licence. This page does not establish that a named service may accept or solicit a Nigerian resident.
Regulator: Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Referral eligibility checked 9 September 2026: Binance’s official referral terms exclude Nigerian residents or Nigerian nationals as referrers and referred applicants. This concerns referral participation, not a blanket account-access finding. OKX registration links remain paused pending verification of Nigerian eligibility and regional affiliate terms.
