Build the record before there is a dispute
Keep the platform order ID, counterparty display name, PKR amount, payment method and timestamps in PKT. Save the order terms as shown at the time. Do not move the conversation outside the platform merely because the other party says it will be faster.
Use one timeline
| Time in PKT | Event | Evidence | Open question |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10:02 | Order opened | Order page | Correct payment account? |
| 10:07 | PKR sent | Bank or wallet receipt | Recipient name matched? |
| 10:09 | Marked paid | Platform status | Release pending? |
| 10:20 | Support opened | Case number | Next requested document? |
The sample times are illustrative. Keep the original files and create a redacted copy for ordinary sharing. A cropped receipt can omit details needed to explain the payment, while a full public receipt can expose too much.
Do not treat a screenshot as the only proof
Cross-check the amount, transaction reference, receiving account name and status in the official banking or wallet application. A message or edited image from the counterparty does not prove that cleared funds arrived. Follow the platform’s rules before releasing crypto and use its dispute route when facts conflict.
Escalate through the correct channel
Keep the platform case number separate from a bank complaint number. Pakistan’s regulatory framework changed in 2026; check the current PVARA status of a provider and the appropriate complaint path rather than relying on an old article. Never put an OTP, password, private key or seed phrase in the evidence folder.
Should a second PKR transfer unlock the first? Treat that request as a new risk, not a repair. Can a checklist guarantee recovery? No; it helps present evidence, while the provider or relevant authority decides the outcome.
Sources and review method
PVARA: official virtual-asset regulatory information. The checklist and examples are editorial teaching material by Mr. Slash; figures are hypothetical unless a source and date are stated.
