First identify the kind of transfer
A PKR payment to a bank or mobile wallet and an on-chain token transfer are different processes. This checklist concerns a withdrawal to a blockchain address. It does not explain how to send tokens directly to an Easypaisa or JazzCash phone number, and it does not establish that a provider permits your intended activity.
Begin with the receiving service’s current deposit screen. The name of a token alone is not enough to choose a withdrawal network. Compare the receiving instructions with the sending screen while both are open, instead of relying on a network you used for a different account last month.
The two-screen worksheet
| Receiver asks for | Sender must match |
|---|---|
| Specific asset | The same supported asset, not a similar symbol |
| Supported network | The exact compatible withdrawal network |
| Deposit address | The full address after pasting |
| Memo or destination tag, if required | The required value in the correct field |
| Minimum deposit | Net arriving amount that meets the receiver’s requirement |
Kraken’s deposit documentation illustrates why network support, confirmation requirements and required tags matter. Use your own receiving provider’s instructions for the actual values; this is not an endorsement of Kraken or a claim about its availability in Pakistan.
Use a test carefully
If you choose a test transfer, check its own fee and the receiving minimum first. A very small amount below the crediting threshold may create uncertainty rather than confirm the route. Wait for the receiver to recognise the deposit, then recheck every field before a subsequent transfer. A successful test is not a guarantee against changing or pasting the wrong address later.
Use the displayed net amount rather than assuming that a fee is added separately. Some sending interfaces deduct a charge from the requested amount. Record the exact treatment shown on the final confirmation screen.
When the balance does not appear
Keep the withdrawal request ID and blockchain hash in separate fields. Check the hash on the appropriate network explorer using the link supplied by the official service. Record whether the transfer is pending or confirmed, and then compare the receiving service’s crediting requirements.
Do not repeat the full withdrawal to fix a delay. If a memo is missing or the network differs, contact the receiving service through its official support channel. Recovery can depend on the particular service and transfer; no checklist can promise that an unsupported transfer will be recovered.
Keep the record useful in Pakistan
Write the observation time as PKT or include the UTC offset. Keep any PKR purchase record separate from the later on-chain movement, because the amounts use different units and represent different events. A local support file should explain that sequence without exposing your identity documents publicly.
Can I choose the cheapest network? Only compare costs after establishing that both ends support the route. Does the same-looking address prove compatibility? No; do not use address appearance as the sole network check. What must never go in a support request? Passwords, one-time codes, private keys and recovery phrases.
